Chronology of cameras Burke and James
The Korelle-Reflex I is the first 6x6 SLR camera with a focal-plane shutter produced by Kochmann in 1935. A self-timer was added in 1936 and equipped the Reflex-Korelle II.
The model presented was manufactured in the USA by the company Burke and James through an arrangement with the German company and was available with various lenses.
Both versions shared the same screw-in lenses and accessories.
